What are the best beaches near the Barion Hotel? There are a range of different places at hand, each with its own distinctive features.
Polignano a Mare has received the Bandiere Blu (“Blue Flag”) award and boasts some fine cliffs overlooking the sea. Monopoli and Ostuni feature some sumptuously white beaches with secluded bays and bathing resorts including all the most in-demand services for tourists.

San Vito is situated to the south of the hotel and is worth a visit because of its location, with its small beach nestled among the rocks. Behind it stands the Benedictine Abbey and picturesque bay of Cala Paura.

Savelletri and Forcatella are recommended for anyone who wants to combine a beach holiday with some culinary delicacies. Here, the traditional products are the sea urchins and Bari style sushi.

Have you ever dreamed of taking sailing lessons? A short distance from Barion are the sailing spots of Bari and Monopoli, where the skippers await you to venture along the coast of Puglia. Meanwhile, at Mola you can embark on a fishing boat and take part in a fishing expedition or go for a pleasant swim in the sheltered coves.

If you fancy an invigorating dive, then we would recommend the Baths of Torre Canne, one of the most famous spa destinations in Puglia and a convenient destination for guests at our hotel who feel like regenerating themselves on holiday.
